From collaboration to merger

Van Dusschoten & Van Ginkel, like DIKS, is a family business that traces its origins back to the 1940s. What started as a taxi company grew into a full-fledged mobility partner for individuals and companies in Amersfoort and Zeist.

In 2016, the two companies joined forces for the first time within DeAutoverhuurders, a collective of five independent family businesses. Now, in 2024, they have opted for a full merger: one strong brand, while maintaining a personal approach and local commitment.

Van Dusschoten & Van Ginkel becomes DIKS, nothing changes for you

Although the name changes, the familiar service remains. The recognisable white-orange buses will continue to drive around Amersfoort and Zeist for the time being. Step by step, the company locations will be transformed into the recognisable DIKS look & feel, while maintaining the customer-oriented service people have been accustomed to for decades.
