Renting a car for a week can be handy for many reasons. Sometimes you just need an extra car. Maybe your own car is not big enough, you don't have the right tyres or you are temporarily without transport. Whatever your reason, with a rental car you decide your own route, save money on accessories and travel comfortably without depending on others or public transport. Whatever your plans, with a DIKS rental car you'll be flexible, comfortable and economical on the road!
Kilometre-free rental from 7 days
At DIKS, you always rent at the cheapest rate, tailored to your travel plans. When booking, you enter your expected mileage. Our system will then automatically calculate the best price based on your choice:
A lower daily rate with x km included. Do you drive more than x km? Then you pay for the extra kilometres.
A higher daily rate with no kilometre restriction. You pay a fixed amount per day, regardless of the number of kilometres you drive.
After returning the rental vehicle, we calculate the actual kilometres driven and apply the most favourable rate. As a result, the amount on the invoice may differ from the original rental agreement, but you always pay the cheapest rate!
Would you like to extend the rental period? No problem! Contact the location where you picked up your vehicle, and we will immediately check if an extension is possible. Has the vehicle already been reserved? Then we will look for a suitable solution together. Flexibility is our top priority.
Example scenarios:
Scenario 1: You rent for 7 days and drive less than 700 km
You rent a car for a week and expect to drive 300 km. Then our system automatically calculates the low daily rate with a maximum of 100 km per day.
Scenario 2: You rent for 7 days and drive more than 700 km
You rent a car for a week and expect to drive 1400 km, e.g. to France. Our system then automatically switches to the mileage-free daily rate.
Scenario 3: You rent for 7 days but drive more than expected
You enter 650 km when making your reservation and therefore get a low daily rate with a maximum of 100 km per day. Along the way, you decide to take a road trip and end up driving 1200 km. No problem! At the end of the rental period, we calculate the kilometres driven and automatically apply the cheapest rate. Your reservation is then converted to the mileage-free daily rate, so you never pay too much!
