Fuel policy
Fuel policy specifies how much fuel must be in the tank of the rental vehicle at the time of pick-up and drop-off.
We apply the full-full principle. This means that you refill the fuel you’ve used and return the vehicle with a full tank. Are you not returning the vehicle completely full? We will then refill the tank for you and charge the used fuel plus service costs.
Electric vehicles
The same principle applies to electric vehicles. You will receive the electric rental car with a fully charged battery and we expect you to return it fully charged. If the vehicle is not fully charged upon return, the charging costs for charging the battery will be charged afterwards. This ensures that the car is ready for the next renter without the need for unforeseen charging time.
Important to know:
Avoid extra costs: Make sure you fill up the tank or charge the battery just before returning the car. This prevents extra costs for fuel, service, or charging costs that we would otherwise have to pass on.
Honest and transparent policy: By returning the car with a full tank or fully charged battery, you can be sure that you only pay for the fuel or electricity that you have used yourself.
Convenience for the next renter: The full-full policy, for both fuel and electric vehicles, helps us to always have the car ready for the next renter.
Cheap refueling along the way?
How much you pay for a tank of fuel varies enormously by region and gas station. And if you are going to drive a lot of kilometers, the place where you refuel can determine whether you spend a lot or little money.
